Get in Touch

Bexar County Busted Mugshots is a private reference site, not a government office. It cannot verify detention or release, post bond, arrange a visit, or retrieve an official booking record. Contact the responsible government office directly for those services.

Official Bexar County Record Contacts

Use the contact that matches the question. A recent arrest check, a custody question, a booking-photo request, and a court outcome are handled by different Bexar County offices. Do not send payment in response to an unexpected arrest-related phone call. BCSO warns that it does not demand payment by phone to avoid arrest and does not require gift cards or cryptocurrency.

For a booking photo, records request, or current inmate-information route, use the official BCSO Central Records page. The county asks for a full name, SID number, or date of birth for a mugshot request and displays the current Central Records email on that page. It is linked rather than copied here because the displayed address can change. For inmate information, including charges, bond amounts, and warrant information, call 210-335-6201 with the person's full name and date of birth. A formal Texas Public Information Act request can be filed through Bexar County GovQA.

Court and case-status contacts

Check the Bexar Justice Information Portal for cases, judgments, warrants, and later disposition information. For misdemeanor-record questions, Central Filing is listed at 210-335-2238. For felony-record questions, the Bexar County District Clerk is listed at 210-335-2591. The portal is a convenience source and may be incomplete, so certified copies require the clerk's own process.

Municipal agency records

For an incident handled by the arresting city agency, request the record from that agency rather than assuming BCSO is the custodian.

For the complete official-source sequence, including Central Magistrate's 24-hour arrest window and BCSO's seven-day Jail Activity Reports, return to the Bexar County records and booking lookup. Warrant questions belong with Sheriff's Most Wanted, while local reporting is separate from official records on Mugshots in the News.
